I think we can go close with the right attitude in defence! If we can't win this one I am not sure where our next win comes from? This match is very important in the context of the rest of our season, if we can't get up for this game, things may just go from bad to worse!
 
Better not get any worse then sundays game. Don't need to see my clubs identity kept ripped apart anymore.

Tigers will win by like 30-10 something like that. I've given up any hope of legit winning another game this year (except home games vs Titans, warriors or panthers) I will however still pick the knights in the tipping. Will we have hodkinson back on saturday?
 
It is quite amazing so early in the season, only two players have played ten games, Dan and Korbin! Can't get much consistency and/or combinations with the run we have had.

An injury in the warm up stopped Sauaso Sue from taking the field against the Bulldogs but he’s expected to play against Newcastle.

Robbie Farah’s is definitely out following his concussion last week and could be replaced by Matt Ballin, who made a try-scoring return from injury in the NSW Cup last week.

Knights:

Trent Hodkinson is a chance of returning while Nathan Ross is expected to be named.

They would replace Jack Cogger and Cory Denniss respectively.

The ailments that have kept Jake Mamo out of commission have continued with the speedy outside back still nowhere to be seen.

Brown's Round 11 update

Tue 17th May, 04:28PM

As the Newcastle Knights approach their Round 11 match against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium, coach Nathan Brown has provided an update on movement within the team.

In terms of injuries following Sunday's game, Brown is doubtful Jacob Saifiti will be cleared after injuring his wrist.

“It may not be as bad as first thought, but I wouldn’t have thought it was a good result either,” he said.

Meanwhile halfback Trent Hodkinson is pushing for fitness ahead of Saturday’s match after carrying a knee injury.

“Trent did a rehab run yesterday and as they expected it was a lot better,” he said.

“I would have thought with what he did yesterday things would work out favourably and that he would play.

“He will train tomorrow with the team to see how that goes but things are looking positive."

He described Nathan Ross’s hamstring complaint as minor with the outside back expected to pass a fitness test this week.

With injury concerns with both the team’s experienced halves, Brown is content with the cover young Brock Lamb and Jack Cogger can provide in the interim.

“I thought they did really well and both showed they have a great long-term future in the game,” he said about the pair.

“They have a good natural skillset and know how to play in their positions.

“They are very direct in the way they play their footy in attack and both like to compete.

“I think as far as halves go, the long-term future of the Club is in a good position.”

Maybe Brown should give an update on what they actually do at training, so far all I'm seeing is, play the young guys and cya in a couple of years.
