be nice to see Brailey keep going to Crossland
 
We need players in positions they specialise in. Mann gets shoved around everywhere and he doesn't belong there.

We need a real 5/8, not Mann playing there with the direction of stay out of the way and kick sometimes, his kicks are horrible.

And talk of him in the centres no thanks, I've seen enough of him dying with the ball as he cant create very much. A case of fitting the team around the player.

And this player isnt good enough to be given that respect.
 
Consistently we’re getting players out longer than initially predicted for soft tissue stuff, and players who are cleared to return are re-injuring. Also while our players seem to be fit there’s maybe a bit of a lack of explosiveness & intensity to what they do in the field. Hope the strength, conditioning & recovery staff are a big part of the review. Not to cast aspersions on a team led by the coincidentally Isaac Moses managed Bailin Cupples of course...
 
Dropping Hodgson in with zero game time and very little training time with the team would be a crazy move, but what have we got to lose?
 
I think I’d move Star To’a to fullback, Enari to the wing, and play Simi & Bradman in the centres. That’s my “what have we got to lose” take. See what we’ve got with Star as a fullback back up, and Simi/Braddy could be the long term centre pairing of the future.

Bailey I’d give at least one week in NSW Cup. I think it’s setting him up for failure to dump him straight into first grade for a debut off of long term injury.

I’d drop Musgrove for Kiraz or Young too. I’ve resisted the idea of playing Young on the wing but, **** it. We need points. And he’s a guy you can see knocking someone like Garrick into the shadow realm if we put them one on one.

It really peeves me what O’Brien said in his presser. I think I’ve read it elsewhere also, there’s no excuse for these performances. What kills us the most is this was meant to be a big year with more recruits and the softest draw you could imagine

Yep. He is super stressed. I can’t see it getting any better this week. Mann at 5/8. Hoy at 1. I actually think this will be the week we have 50 put on us, followed by the media coming for O’Brien.

As long as half our starting squad is out ots enough to keep the wolves at bay, the problem is even when we get people back we still put in bad performances.
