Ponga playing SOO crap will be a real smack in the face. Let some other sucker pay his +$1 million a year to sit on the sidelines.

What has he played this season ~ three games out of twelve is it?

He is a season and a half into the job it’s not his fault this is what our depth looks like. As for picking people out of position that tends to happen when a side get a lot of injuries in the same position. The coach blaming is so ridiculous without our 2 best players we have struggled massively but that is where this club is at.

There are only 3-4 teams in the NRL that have the depth to cope with an injury toll like that and it takes years to build. Whether AOB is the man to build that club remains to be seen but at least give the guy a chance.

Agree. I'm not saying sack him...but he needs to do better by doing things like dropping people...not picking Mann...giving people that debut more than one game etc. Not blaming injuries as that gives people an excuse and is poor leadership.

I get there is only so much he can do though regarding depth etc but he has had some time to recruit to help this.

Hopefully we see improvement soon

He already shot his shot the previous press conference when he went all in on them, talking about how there will be big changes in the coming years. I think he didn't know what to say anymore. Does he repeat himself? All he could say was to stick with us. He's always spoken very well but the pressure is undoubtedly getting to him now. As a club we keep losing & nobody knows what to do about it. Sometimes it feels like this place is cursed with how many players & coaches we go through, yet nobody can turn it around.
 
The most exciting thing today is Hodgson getting his first run in reserve grade.
I suppose he might be just another kid, but the buzz around him is that he will pretty quickly make a name for himself.
I can't go today, but if I could, I'd get there early to see how this kid goes.
 
Apparently Schuster is out with a hammy problem... Not that it really makes a difference lol
 
Obi will say in his press conference today that Jake Clifford will be playing for us next weekend and we may have some other players back from injury. But apart from Clifford and possibly some other players coming back from injury he has not got any answers.
