Although always the fall guy, the coach is not always the problem at the Knights.
Off course he needs to be sacked, he is clueless and has us playing like a pack of flogs with his inability to change a game plan. All we do is one out hit ups then kick on last tackle.
Yep the coach isn't always the problem, but this time it clearly is. And lets face it, the coach is going to get sacked because you sure as hell can't sack the entire team.
My pick would be Flanagan, I don't really care about his past with the peptides crap I just want a winning team.

Analysis: Dane Gagai is under an injury cloud according to the Newcastle Herald, who reported the veteran centre “tweaked a hamstring” in the trial loss to Parramatta. The injury is reported to not be major but is enough to have him in doubt for the trip across the ditch. Hymel Hunt or Krystian Mapapalangi shape as the likely replacements for Gagai should he not be available. Enari Tuala is another option, although he is racing the clock too having already missed Newcastle’s two trial games with a pectoral injury. Sharks recruit Lachie Miller is set to complete Adam O’Brien’s spine come Round 1 and make his regular season debut for the Knights alongside Jackson Hastings (Tigers), Kalyn Ponga and Jayden Brailey. Meanwhile, former Raider Adam Elliott is set to wear the No.13 jersey with Lachlan Fitzgibbon and Tyson Frizell in the backrow. The Saifiti brothers will pack the scrum together, with Kurt Mann playing the utility role. Jack Hetherington, who joined the Hunter club from the Bulldogs, will likely play off the bench with Brodie Jones and Leo Thompson on the bench. Dominic Young, who is reportedly set to join the Roosters in 2024, will take one wing spot with off-season recruit Greg Marzhew on the other side. Did you see the Dragons attack the past few years? That was mostly Flanagan...
I haven't thought about it too much, but if you're annoyed at AOB's coaching style being five hit ups and a kick then I don't think Flanagan is a good replacement!
If AOB does get the punt then Brian McDermott will take over for the rest of the year, I'd say ... I'd like to see how we go under him.

Agree , I think Mann cops more flak then he deserves but he is not a starter !He is our best 14. By a long way!

John Morris is an assistant at Souths these days. Would also be happy with him. Need to recruit a top line defensive assistant as well, but Morris did a great job developing some good young players. Fitz has been the beneficiary.
