Shocking news that Shibasaki has been unable to retain his starting centre position from last year's Ashes series.

Shocking news that Shibasaki has been unable to retain his starting centre position from last year's Ashes series.

One of the biggest one season wonders ever

[jamesgould]

Jacob Saifiti in the Fiji squad.

Even though they will somehow still probably win the tournament that’s a shocking squad.

Carrigan, cotter, tino,Staggs and Munster minimum shouldn’t have been in squad
Possibly even moses

All had the form this year of a bunch of potatoes

Can’t believe Hamish Stuart as a shadow/back up player over Lucas or Tallis Duncan
Fletcher sharpe unlucky to not be there due to ability to play 1,wing,centre and 6

[Timmy]

Not a single specialist winger in the squad. Bostock comes closest. Guessing him and Turbo will be on the wings. Such a weird squad from Kevvy.

[jamesgould]

Frizell made the Tonga squad.

And Dom in the England squad, of course.

[Macca89]

Hopefully Crossland makes the kiwi side and he can start for us in round 1

I think he’s a lock now the Cheese is out too.

Expecting Ponga, Crossland and Gags to be named for NZ, and Manuleleua and McEwan for Samoa. Marzhew a chance for them too.

[Macca89]

Was surprised seeing manu in the kiwi extended squad. I wonder who he will pick if they select him for both

Heard an interview with him on NZ radio a few weeks ago and did get the impression that he has a bit more passion for Samoa.

[jamesgould]

Manuleleua, McEwan, Marzhew and Saulo all named for Samoa.

[Macca89]

Good recognition for their efforts this year

[Macca89]

Might have half our squad playing in the World Cup at this rate.

[HarVeeGee13]

That's amazing for Pasami. Reward for unbelievable ticker & courage.

[MullosLefttoRight]

One would assume Marzhew, Manuleleua and McEwen would be in Samoa's starting 13 based on that squad.

Saulo fighting looks to be fighting for the final bench middle spot with Ata Mariota.

Going to be a great tournament to watch with all these Knights involved!
