RLWC 2026

Big run from Dom to set up the next play for AJ's try to get the English back in this...the Poms are good enough to win it if Tonga gets complacent/lazy.

Great win to Tonga. Seems pretty likely that’s the end of England unless they go on a huge for and against rampage in their final two games.

If samoa beat tonga the for and against wont matter as the standings use head to head results before for and against to seperate teams, so england will be gone assuming both tonga and england finish on 2 wins.

I'd be surprised if Samoa beats Tonga, that forward pack is immense and Foketi playing dummy-half solves a big problem in their spine - Isaiya gives them the edge in the halves and Rob Toia is probably the form outside back in the World at the moment. Could definitely see them making the WC Final if their cohesion improves throughout the tournament.

We'll get a good look at exactly where McEwen and Manuleleua are at in the Tonga/Samoa game. If Manuleleua can hold his gloves up at lock in that game it'll build a fairly compelling case for where he starts next season.

I'm very happy with how the WC in going.
At this stage, it's still possible that Australia, NZ and England could all lose against a Pacific Island country at some stage and maybe we could see a new winner of the WC, which can only be good for the game.
