POS is clearly playing the long game here. He has also moved rather aggressively into our old territories with a view to taking them back. People cannot forget he is the man who stole them from us to begin with. The Roosters took Taree region from us like stealing from a blind man. So it is not really the club but Sully which is the final factor in a lot of it. Seve is legit being talked about in The same ball park as Trell and GI. Our patience will be rewarded.
 
Mole trying to float a story that Payne Hass is heading to Newcastle because him and his wife spent Christmas here.

He has a lot of family here still - his uncles, Larry and Mark Taufua have a long history with the Woodbury Warriors - the junior club of Payne Hass and of Knights Lisa Fiaola player Cali Taufua - who is probably a cousin or something.
 
Is the Francis Molo leaving thing true?

If so would anyone wanna see him here? He is pretty good and as a bench prop with Saulo I think would be great.

Obviously in a hypothetical world where we do get him, a player would have to either leave or be demoted as our top 30 is full I believe.

Just want to get people’s opinion about him

Everywhere he goes there seems to be some sort of aura that follows him. Ok player but it's a no from me. Seems to infect others for the bad not good.

i would be in favour of, don’t think there’s any aura about him in a bad way… he was at saints (every decent player wants to leave there) and he went to dolphins as a short term fix for them missing Flegler, D Saf and Gilbert with the fall of Kenny bromwichs form, it fixes our lack of quality first grade middles issue

For the right price, he could be a valuable addition.

I’ve been told I cannot say what I feel to these kinds of comments so I’ll try it the nice way.

If you don’t want a prop because of how he acted in a lower division than you just don’t want a single prop in the history of the game.

This mentality holds us back “oh he did something I don’t like therefore I don’t want him at all” and while I’ll understand if it was something horrendous.

And I’m glad it’s not the way POS looks at signings

I just think there are plenty of guys with their head screwed on the right direction to be worried about a prop who really doesn't look like his wanting to put in every match. Let's be honest. The blokes 31. Plenty of younger, hungry pups about.

the one thing we don’t need is hungry young props, we have:
Hopwood - 19
ESL - 21
Crouch - 22
Cant - 23
Sullivan - 21
Manuleleua - 21

We need props with experience and in their prime to help them develop into first graders… Molo is an origin level player who isn’t out of form unlike our two former origin middles
 
It's not like rugby league is a new sport to them. They know what they need to do to make it. It's not a whole new profound thing. They have to meet KPIs at training every damn day. I just don't want him. Yeah coz we know origin is such a big spectacle......blokes like Edrick lee played it.

What do they need to develop exactly? Their bodies? Or for just someone to give them a crack at grade and let them choose whether they want it bad enough.

Well said.

I went to a party when I was 17 and the theme was “rude”. My interpretation for the dress up was to be highly offensive and politically incorrect. There’s photos, lots of photos and I still am waiting for the day some **awhile brings them up as a reflection on my ‘true’ character. 🤣

That was almost 1/4 of a century ago! If people don’t grow and evolve and mature in almost 25 years, or any amount of time then they’d wanna give it all up.
