I have opened this thread to conduct a poll to determine whether a majority of marathonstadium members want Adam O’Brien sacked.
 
At this point I don't see much purpose to a poll on the topic.

I imagine it's going to be a landslide yes vote.
 
Well, I don’t know about this. If we’re fair dinkum serious about one of the assistants, then yes, it’s a good job interview. If we aren’t so sure on them and really want to test the waters or just have someone else in mind, may as well leave him there and save some pay out money.

The point of the poll is to prove to a certain poster on this forum that a majority of members want to see AOB sacked.
 
Everyone is perfectly entitled to express their opinion on here but posters have to accept that if the post something that is clearly wrong, someone is going to call them out on it, they should accept that and move on.

The poll is showing that 32 people out of 200 people want O'Brien sacked. That is hardly a majority. I suggest you start sending out emails to get your vote count up.

47 people have voted so far and 68.1% of them want AOB sacked. The result is crystal clear for anyone who has an open mind.

For your information, not that many members usually vote in polls on here. The response to this poll is higher than usual.

You forget your statement. "The majority of people in this forum want O'Brien sacked". This forum consists of nearly 2,000 members. You have 32 people that want O'Brien sacked at this stage. There are 200 people online at present and you still only have 32 votes to sack O'Brien. You have proved nothing. Your outlandish statement is false and using your words. "If you post something that is clearly wrong, someone is going to call you out on that and you should move on". I think it is time you moved on. Yet I must say I have had so much fun today, thank you.
 
2000 members, how many actually come here daily and of them, how many are active.

Anyway, You would be brave running the argument that AOB isn't heading for the sack, and that the majority of Knights fans everywhere don't want that to happen.

Isn't this covered by the Sack AOB thread? I'm on holidays now and can campaign in more than one thread, but if this **** is going to spill over in to multiples I just don't have the time. We have sack AOB, we have replacement for AOB, and we have this poll thread. Can't we hate on AOB all in the one place?
 
I've always said the same thing.
A million dollar job demands you deliver results or get fired.
Every coach deserves a free go for the first year.
The second year they need to at least look like they are moving in the right direction. O'Brien gets a tick for that.
Third year you should be close to being in the mix for a title. Tick, sort of.
After that, if you aren't in the premiership race - time to pack your bags and let the next guy who can convince us he is worth a million a year have a shot.

Only rider to all that is the leeway you get for making a gf or actually winning the thing. Show you can do that, it will (usually) buy you some time.

I couldn’t add a poll in the sack AOB thread, so I had to create a new thread, once the poll closes, everyone can post in the original thread.

Adam, stop. The people want you gone. Deal with it. The least you could do is step off this forum and start coaching our team or step down for the love of god.
