I'd much, much prefer Buhrer to be playing lock. With Barrnet and Sione playing 2nd row.

All we need now really, is an experienced prop, fullback and a centre. Whether we can get all 3 is another story...

How do we all feel with Hodko and Mullen in the halves? I'm a bit on the fence for both of them...

Hodgkinson needs a decent pack in front of him ,he ll be a lot better in 2017, not sure with Mullen as I wouldn't mind see him play some hooker but with kostjacyn and Levi there don't know how that all fits in , and we have lamb coming through in the halves too, suppose it's good to have some depth. I think we need a prop signed for 2017 aswell and then look to bolster the backline with a gun fullback, we do also need a centre , the guys there now aren't going to help us get back to the 8

Buhrer lacks bulk to play lock in the modern game, a book end hoilding up the centre such as Klemmer, Parker, Gallen, Taumolovo or hopwever you spell it etc. If we could get him mobile and involved enough Korbs would fill the position.

My hopes for # 9 were Mullen. Fast, brainy and with a kicking game.

Just a thought don't get into me its the off season ...
I thought Mullen might play 9 next season but then we buy Kostjaysn , who's a good no 9 but imo only a 9 with Levi as his back up....Brown wants Lamb in the side , he can only really play at 6....
If Mullen is still here , Where does he play you cant leave him out of the side so.. can he play Centre or Fullback. If he is fit enough next year , and he did finish the season fairly fit , he could play centre at least .
That would shore up the defence on one side because he is smart and a good defender he could do some damage as a centre but I don't think he would be fit enough for F/b but you never know . What do you reckon ...Be nice ...

I think Mullen and hodkinson have the potential to be the top half combination of the competition with a forward pack dominating the ruck. I would keep Mullen at 5/8 as he controls the game well and bring ,a bit in when Mullen inevitably ends up injured

I met Jamie burher earlier this year, I'm a naturally solid guy I currently play in the centres in union which is pretty much a second row forward in league, anyway Jamie is pretty bulky in person I think he could play lock quite easily

Thing is the coach is a Lamb fan and im not so sure he's a Mullen fan , not as much any way ....But i was only saying if Brown puts lamb at 6 where does Mullen go . He could be good at centre and we could use the help there ...

Lol @ your centres.
Gagai and Ross are much better centres than Mullen and Burher.

Surely Mullen will be playing 5/8. We need someone in the halves who is actually capable of creating points at the top level.

Not suggesting he be moved their but didn't Lamb spend some time at fullback in the under 20s? I hope we manage to land DWZ or Loloheia but if not I would just put Ross back their or a one year deal for Zac Santo and than go hard at one of the off contract players like Holmes next season.

Lamb played 1 game (from memory) at fullback in NYC and went surprisingly well, but he basically played 5/8 in attack and hung out at the back in defence and I think he was coming back from injury and they were just keeping him out of the defensive line.

I thought I could remember him playing their once or twice, I would like to see Lamb have a year in NSW cup before moving up full time just to add some more polish to his game.

I agree Dan I would love to see Ross get a go at fullback, his kick returns and attitude in defence would be great for the team. Does anyone know if we na aged to keep a hold of Sopa-lawler or did he move to another club?
