Haha wtf, Mullen and hodkinson are our halves, lamb and cogger are our reserve halves. That's it.
If there's an injury then one of them step up but no way would we consider them as first graders yet when we have other issues to worry about.

A lot can happen in a preseason my friend. You would have to groom lamb surely. Play cogs up in reserves to play against men although he didn't look out of place in nrl just needed to bulk up strength a little.

The only thing going against Cogs is his size. Although he did play well above his weight when selected for first grade, I think if he spent the year in reserves or at least got half a year or handful of games and increase his size then he'll be good to go.

Cogger already goes as good as most halfbacks in defence.
Lamb is good for a 19 year old, but should improve a lot still.
You have to accept halves will miss a few tackles. God knows Hodko misses his fair share.

Yeah Cogger is pretty bloody tough for a little bloke. I remember one game this season where he made a heap of tackles. Mullen and Hodkinson will obviously be our first choice halves but if an injury occurs (it'll be Mullen let's face it) I'm pretty confident with any one of Cogger, Lamb and Feeney coming in and doing a job.

Pearsall was our second choice 5/8 at the end of the season, but that was obviously with Lamb injured.
I like Pearsall, and it's clear that Brown likes him too. He would have played a lot of games in 2016 if he didn't pick up an injury at the wrong time.

What !!...for the NSW cup side I hope.....useless as a limp celery stick.

Hahaha
But really complain about someone having a trial. If he proves himself why not sign him in a minimum 1 year contract. Not going to do any harm and will Only strengthen nsw cup side at worst.

Never understood the concept. Even I could put myself through the paces and play games a full throttle. Once I'd have earned my contract slack off till contract time comes around again.

Tilse should be a good benchmark for the young props.
If they can't out train the old fella, they probably aren't good enough.

Oh mate I'm itchy but I'm too old and brittle nowadays. Same as tilsee.
I know how that feels my boys said play footy with us dad...I smashed my oldest 6'1 115kg put him on his arse and broke a piece of arthritic bone away from inside my shoulder blade bloody painfull pushing its way between my ribs . At least I showed the boys who's boss lol.

You never know with guys like Fifita asking him to come to the club and be the leader of the forwards and be a role model for the young guys on and off the field could be just what he needs to mature and take us forward . Put something in his contract that if he stuffs up he is gone ....
