The turnover of our recruitment and development pathways staff has been insane, I think that definitely points to a problem somewhere.

If there’s someone above Gardiner, I’d like them to pull him into gear to just sticking to draining the pensioners and doleys of their funds because that’s what he knows.
I like what Parr has done so far for the club and am keen to see what he can do in the future.
On a side note, I’m keen to see if what he does for us can create a fan that will join another team forum under the name of Knightman and say he loves them while he constantly undermines and brings negativity and arguments to every thread while promoting Newcastle

Courier Mail reporting the Broncos are interested in Parr too, but no formal offer made yet. Says his Knights deal is for 2 more years.
Well Parr has been here for a couple of years now and I can't say I'm impressed. In that time we have dismantled the womens premiership winning team losing Ron Griffiths and multiple players including Upton and now Southwell. Griffiths took the team from the wooden spoon to a Premiership in one year and really has been the only shinning light in the club for a long time. His replacement Jeffries came with a not so great track record and that has continued. We have very few marquee players at the club, mens and womens, and we really struggle to keep them. If we can't keep our top players how do you attract any decent established or developing players. Losing the likes of Dom Young and Leo Thompson who came to the club as barely first grade material and left or are leaving as rep level players send are really poor message to the Rugby League world. Our recruiting continues to be sub standard and seems to lack a clear direction of what they are trying to achieve, all in all very disappointing as a long time supporter.
I was just thinking as Ron Griffiths was interviewed before the All Stars last night, it's almost like they purposely dismantled that premiership winning NRLW side. If they were self-destructing it on purpose, could they have done any better a job than what's happened in the last 12 months? haha*

Letting Upton out of her contract so early , instead of letting her have time off has left a bitter taste in my mouth. “Family” reasons and signs with broncos straight away.Upton was not the player she is now when she first left broncos.

Then multiple players being released early from “contracts” That team torn to shreds.

what was the urgency surely he wasn’t that keen on coaching/ assisting in men’s reserve ?
Why couldn’t he get the 3 peat?
To bring in Ben Jeffries. (? Friend of parrs at NQ!??) and then to loose majority of the squad ? Brought on to setup & develop “pathways programs” I do hear he’s at all training sessions etc for lower nrlw grades. But couldn’t Ron of done this?
Just very strange. Is it parr making these decisions?

Not sure how long Ron spent with reserve grade but he has gone and taken the job at warriors. To create and Build their NRLW team. So clearly he was keen to stay in NRLW . (Watched an interview with him about this , sounds like he eventually wants to coach men’s first grade )
As I mentioned not very impressed by Parr with his decisions regarding our NRLW team .
Parr and O Sullivan haven’t really drawn in any big names
- I guess D.Brown is a name but wouldn’t say it’s BIG
Let alone what they have offered contract wise ,
Leave me in great worry.
Also when it comes to signing ponga again , Peter Parr clearly didn’t hold onto him at NQLD and O Sullivan was mucked around by Andre at dolphins. Hopefully thee two don’t hold resentment?

A fair assessment. I like everyone else had big hopes when Parr came on and then POS but struggling to trust the process at this stage. Happy to eat my words at some point though.

I went to the womens reserve grade trial in the pre-season and I was amazed by the quality of the players Jefferies and Bec Young had got together.
I don't know who any of them were, but at least 10 of them wouldn't have looked out of place in the NRLW team.
Jefferies was on the field as trainer for most of the game, telling players what he wanted them to do.
I think he's been pretty busy, putting together a squad that will surprise us.
