Knights player #300
Knights debut: vs New Zealand Warriors, Round 22 2018

I've got to say that he has impressed me with the way he has taken his recent opportunities in first grade and looks like he has a bit of 'Klemmer' about him in his mindset and effort areas.

I originally thought that Matt Croker was our talented up and comer bursting on to the scene from the lower ranks this year but he seems to have plateaued a bit in the back half of the season and tends to struggle with consistency when he gets asked to do longer stints and fatigue sets in...it is likely to be a fitness thing but he hasn't set the world on fire since his initial opportunities with the NRL squad.

But Pasami has been a real tempo lifter and impact player in his recent games....I think he finally seems to be able to deliver NRL standard performances and doesn't seem over awed to be out there. I hope he gets regular minutes for the rest of this year to give him the opportunity cement his place in the forward rotation based on maintaining and improving his consistency and impact over the last few games of the season.

Yeah I’ve always found him to be pretty effective, seems to be very underrated on here (not that I think he’s totally amazing, but the only time I ever see him mentioned here is in people’s list of players we should cut!)

Definitely adds impact whenever he plays and I hope we see a bit more of him.

Can’t fault his running game. Had a run the other day against the Tigers where he hit the defence so hard he almost gave himself whiplash.

He didn't do himself any favours by playing injured a lot, but he pretty much had no choice, being the father of a young family and needing to make money.
Brown played him in firstgrade when he was hardly able to train and looked like an 80 year old man walking around the next day.

He's 4 games away from having to get a real job, I'd be playing hard too.

Another one that will be struggling to get a new deal I think.

Sums it up.

Speaking of that how much of a monster did Josh Perry become when his contract was up lol.

Be has a dig, and I think he is is good impact prop off the bench. The exact kind of player that would go to another system and do pretty well and people ask why we let him go.

Bill Peden was mid 20s when he debuted in first grade ... not everyone develops at the same rate and peaks at the same time. Amazing how quickly we write players off these days. I think he's well worth holding onto for depth if nothing else.

How quickly? Mate his been there abouts for 3 years and hasn't shown anything resembling consistency and I'd suggest lacks hunger as well.

knights have tried shopping him since AOB arrived, nearly had a deal at the cows that fell through. I dont think his done enough to change the clubs opinion of him.

To be fair he hasn't really played a lot of football. A couple big injuries and fell back in the pecking order, stuck in reserves. He's only really just starting to get into that consistent gametime now. Don't know if it'll be enough for the club to keep him around though, might be a bit too late.
