Knowing Stone & Mad Dog, Mad Dog will probably get injured at the last second, Wes goes into the centres and Stone decides to name an extended bench, then eventually drops Edwards again for some nobody player in Lulia or Ndaira. Yet again we will have weak-sh*t bench, i hop i'm wrong. Give Edwards a go Stone, he deserves it.

Hey most definitely. The scary thing is though with a man with his ability other codes or at least, other clubs will bait him with bigger paydays. Can't blame a person for chasing bigger dollars but gee, I hope the knights don't let him go to easy.

I couldn't see Uate at another club TBH. He comes across as a loyal type of player and seems very loyal to the Knights in general. I just hope when it comes to renewing his contract they don't stand there twiddling their thumbs, similar to what they done with Vuna.

That's what does my head in from time to time; Is that the Coach & clubs don't always see what the fans see at times.

The Knights have been saved from losing players in the past from none other the the Big chief, not the club itself with their offers. I hope if the day comes that a bidding war is at stake with Uate the Knights have a real dig instead of chasing yesterdays hero's from other clubs.

Agreed.

The problem is though, just like the poster above stated is that if for example the Knights offered Uate 200K and another club offered say 400K per season, it would be hard for the man to knock back.
 
Tell ya what Mal. They let Uate go, they'll be recieving a *coughs*Polite*cough* email from me about how they couldn't even pass a kindergarten IQ test.
 
Theres still another 3 years until he's off contract, and anything could happen in that time, including but not limited to the Tv rights deal and any level of salary cap increases and grants to spend. New recruitment and/or coach being there etc etc

so Stone's dropped some players. wielded the axe huh? McDonnell, Dureau, Lulia and Ciraldo
these changes were going to happen anyway. It looks like a way of being seen to be doing something progressive and positive and 'hard-nosed' without really doing anything at all.
 
Wes did have a very good game on the weekend. I don't think it's fair if he was completely dropped (although he's wasted off the bench imo). Remember as well that he might just be there to cover Kurt incase something happens tonight.
 
Won't matter how good our lineup is, Stone will find a way to screw it up, he'll change Mika and Hilder 15 minutes into the game, one of the bench won't come on until theirs 5 minutes to go in the game.

Not to mention we're probably not going to show up as usual, and we'll get pounded by Hayne coming off from origin.

On the bright side, how good is it going to be to see Gidley vs Hayne after Haynes just taken his spot in origin?

Exactly, not sure why people get fired up over a team sheet when a good chance every week the team gets changed before kickoff. :lol:

Hayne v Slater will be a no go!

Our side is as good as can be expected to be selected but our halves still do not inspire confidence!
