Sharks will have some new massive earners next year if they snag Pearce.

They would get rid of Townsend you would think, Moylan was a swap for Maloney & moving Holmes back to wing risks him getting pissed & jumping ship.
But I simply can't see why Manly would release Green if they didn't think Pearce was a sure thing. The Green to Warriors deal has been on the table for months & they didn't let him go yet because they were waiting for a Pearce or Maloney. It would be very stupid of them to just suddenly sign off on it now without having a replacement over the line.

Not that he is a marquee half or what not, but manly did get Lachlan croker and he beat dce in their 1st preseason run. It’s not saying much but maybe the coaching staff are already impressed enough to take a punt on him and are just freeing up cash by offloading green.

Val Holmes won't move to another club to play wing hence why he is contemplating asking for a release if he gets pushed back to wing to accommodate Moylan/Dugan.
