Official: Knights sign David Klemmer for 5 years

It's a forgone conclusion though, Klem will not want to be sitting around not doing anything once he is supposed to be training again, and regardless of whether dogs have napa or anybody else he will be released this week.

I didn’t say he signed. I said he has agreed (apparently) which will be an in-principle agreement until he formalises it in writing.

All the same though, I’m looking forward to the next week of developments. If we nab Klemmer and Mann or Seggy, we’ll have a very strong team for next year.
 
Awesome news, really shows how far the club has come being able to sign a current Aussie prop to a five year deal. The NRL article says it’s similar to his Dogs wage which was backended next year to be around 800k which to me seems about market value for the best prop in the game who is just 24.
 
4.3 mil over 5 years $860,000 per year. Happy with that. Lots better than the 1.2 mil per year rumours.

Can we throw another 800k at SJ and let Levi and Watson share hooker.

never mind just seen the knights twitter posted an signing announcement to come! Welcome to knights Klemmer!!! Can not wait for the season to start!!!
