Would be to stick around at the Roosters on less money.
Didn't the mole also say that Bird wanted to backflip on the Broncos...?

Guys, there is literally a photo of Connor with the contract in front of him. Don't feed The Mole, he's a troll. Also said the Tigers were favourites for his signature and old mate Buzz thought Foran was coming to us.
Credit to Moley for admitting he was wrong, nice to know no ones having second thoughts.
when do the new signings actually come to Newcastle and start training?
Nov 1 is when we start paying them.
If Watson did try to back out, I'd have liked to see the Knights force the issue and insist he either plays here or nowhere. St George/Tallis style.
Luckily this does not look like an issue and we can look forward to seeing Watson in the red and blue next year.
As I said fairy tales
Everyone loves a good fairy tale with a happy ending
Reckon Buzz called Adams and told him about this dream he'd just had in a drunken stupor about one of the Knights players getting cold feet and Moley in all of his journalistic integrity randomly picked one of the Knights signings and wrote a little piece on it.
I think Watson is probably the player most jumping out of his skin to get here.
The crazy part of all this is that we expand the story, mouth our thoughts on it, and then complain about the source. Did he really have a dream, was he drunk, was a knights player randomly picked, the facts are the facts, but we don't know what they are.
It's Slothfield drinking was definitely involved.
It is so good to be in the know but is it fact, do we just expand the rumour.
It's proven to be false. It's going to be a long off season so we need to cling on to any bit of news whether it's total bullsh*t or not.
The fact that Watson can play fullback, halves, hooker and do short spells in the forwards if the team needs him to would all be very exciting, but people on here keep telling me we are not going to use any of those skills. We have instead bought him to replace one of the few players who showed star qualities in 2017 - and that is locked in - no correspondence will be entered into.
None of that makes any sense at all, and it is basically all manager talk in the newspapers IMO.
I think he was bought to replace Hodkinson not Lamb.
I'm liking that we will have more $ at the end of next season with hodkinsons contract and a few guys I.e. lillyman on 1 year deals.
If round 1 we don't see Watson 6, Lamb 7 I will be convinced Brown has no clue what he is doing and how to coach.
Hodkinson barring injury, should not see NRL first grade again.
