Not sure why we went and got the Eels five-eighth and are trying to turn him into a halfback, are we that hard up for halfbacks at the moment?

Seems like the Knights got a real stiffy for taking a player and trying to turn them into anything other than the position they got him at. They got to cut that out.
 
Very disappointing result especially with semi’s nearly upon us.
Good that Soulo got a run, do him good, Jones scoring a double, that might be a first, hope HIA is a good result for him
 
He’s been the main constant in the halves on a young team that’s sitting 3rd and had their best season in years. Tore up Flegg and NSW Cup for the Eels last year too so the SG Ball comment is ridiculous. Had a shocker today, had plenty of good games as well. Probably the reason he’s only in the development list this year.

Yeah, there is a footballer there, but after today he isn't an option for firsts if it came to it this year with the games we have coming up. Another off season will help immensely.

Terrible take

When NSW cup has got to 3rd spot and he has been the main half at the helm all year and he has had plenty of games that he carried the team in the halves

He has had 10x the year as Gamble and Henderson who has been his primary halves he has had this year

To get beat by last place 40-12 takes more than him to be bad, and unless there is somebody else signed somehow he will be out most experienced NSW halves next year still at 21/22 with maybe Butler

We would have killed to be here last year
 
Watched the game live and wish I didn’t - was not expecting that! They simply didn’t show up … at least it was consistent with the other grades! Wasted my Saturday watching that! Clearly went in with the expectation it was in the bag. More concerning is that they have warriors next week and if cards fall as I see them we may end up 5th and scrape in to finals but there’s gonna be a struggle!
Interested why we all of a sudden have Wilkinson and Wiscombe from Wests getting a walk up start? Wiscombe seemed to be in place of Graham who was originally named and I thought Jacob Davies must have been injured but just heard he carved up in the Maitland Pickers win against Central to qualify for the Grand Final!!
