NSW Cup 2026

Jacob Davis deserves a lot more credit.
At one stage he was considered the next big thing at Parra, ahead of Matt Arthur, but he had a season ending injury and got cut and had to come back to his junior club to get a run.
He's only trained with the reserve grade squad, but I still think there isn't much between him and Matt Arthur.
He was in what I thought was our best ever under 16s side in 2019 along side Jonah Pezet, Oryn Keeley, Crouch, Henderson, Fletcher Myers, Max Bradbury, Chris Veaila, etc.
That was a good side! I like what I see from Davis. Thought he was full time last year but that’s not the case. It’s potential that Arthur took his spot - from what you say Billy, again! Works hard for being a part time player then! I think Davies is much more solid in defence than Arthur - that said Arthur appears to be putting in some good efforts of late so must see the prospect of being down the order as motivation.

ESL playing in the middle with Manuleleua at second row despite how they’re named.

Bizarre injury for Hunter on the opening play of the game but he’s playing on for now.

Interested to see how D’Acre goes, filled in at this level once last year and had a lot of learning to do.

Not many positives but being down 10 isn't the worst result. Not sure they'll have enough, though. Looking unorganised and flat compared to the first 3 weeks.

They definitely still have potential, they've always been looking better later in the game. They generally always get a try just before half-time and take the lead/rack up points in the second half.

We aren't out of this at 12-22 at half time. That wind looks very strong and will be behind us in the second half. There was a frustrating moment when Schiller could have scored from a Henderson kick to make it 12 all, but a Knights player flung his hand at the ball with no chance to catch it and no dogs player in position to do so either. If he'd let it go Schiller scores untouched. Instead, the dogs got down the other end and scored in consecutive sets. Dogs have been the better team but take that moment out and we are in it up to our necks.

The intercept was Manuleleua, the commentator had it wrong

Schiller hasn't looked real interested today but you won't see many better aerial tries than that ever
