NSW Cup 2025

Watched the Manuleleua try again and I think Gamble threw the long pass for De Courcey, but Manuleleua was able to hit the pass at top speed before it got to De Courcey and De Courcey couldn't keep up, and neither could any of the Norths backs. Commentators described it as Manuleleua exploding onto the ball. The only guy that got anywhere near keeping up was Votano.
If we decide he isn't a second rower, we could turn him into a 110kg winger - good luck trying to stop that runaway train.
 
Knights up 10-0 after 10 minutes.

Manuleleua ran through and caught a bomb to score in the first set. Just had another big line break as well.

Brilliant work with not much room to move from De Courcey to put McCarthy over for the second.
 
Lost 30-12, doesn’t look like many did their chances of a call up this year much help apart from Manuleuleua who just keeps on scoring and impressing but have a feeling they have said that he is just playing young grade all year as hasn’t gotten near first grade in the 22 named yet this year.

Matt Arthur didn’t play so probably will be on bench for next week possibly.

Matt Arthur out so must be either rested for next weeks FG potentially.

That game was woeful. Never seen a team with FG players play so awful. From about the 30 min mark we couldn’t help ourselves with penalties or losing the ball or just out and out errors.

Main point was Hastings and Gamble - Hastings provides nothing at all and Gamble needs to find a good local league team willing to take on his poor efforts and terrible negativity!

Our outside backs struggled and showed weakness.

Crouch and Hetherington were strong at the start but didn’t see much difference when they came back on.

Our bench I had no impact. Thompson needs to go with his brother and think Sullivan got another HIA. Davis came on and had to make tackles where our forwards went missing and couldn’t get any attacking opportunities.

We have a first grade side struggling and if we are going to look at depth we have none!

Watched this game as well. Not sure if it was negativity or frustration on Gamble's part but noted he had a head injury early in 2nd half. It certainly wasn't pretty to watch and there were a lot of poor efforts out there.
 
The NSW cup game started an hour late.
after 55 minutes it's Knights 6 - 0 Saints

The one try was scored by Fletcher Hunt leaping over the defenders to catch a Jackson Hastings kick and score next to the posts.
