NSW Cup 2025

Lot of new players and young players progressing, am hopeful that the Cup side will be strong with a nice mixture of experience and youth.
I don’t know much about these new guys and am interested at this time if anyone has any idea what the side will look like assuming all fit or is it still a bit early

That’s a strong cup side on paper there. We are almost spoilt for choice at the moment especially with the youth coming through.

Thought Taj Annan stil injured? Hasn’t been part of the NRL preseason comp.

Glad to see Jacob Davis still with us too. He was one of my ones to watch last year. Must have been impacted by the arrival of Arthur but they have a very similar style so we have some further hooker depth. Didn’t appear in any preseason mentions along with Jack Cullen. Were there injuries there? Those two stood out last year in Flegg last year for me.

Looking forward to seeing Kyle McCarthy develop more this year too.

And as for that bench? I think it’s cast with gold! There’s a lot of money sitting on it there!!! 🤣

I assume it was like every year and the reserve grade coach (Dobson) put a squad through a pre-season. With bartv I was able to watch a game that involved many of the guys who didn't get a run in the two main NSW cup trials that was held the day after the Parra trials, and I have to say I didn't recognise anyone and there was no commentary - but the Knights and Parra went at each other and it was a quality game. I assume it was mostly guys from the local comp, but O'Sullivan and Dobson might have had players from all over trying for a spot.
It looked like a more competitive game than the official NSW cup trial the day before - because a lot of guys were playing for a chance I suppose.
Anyway, I expect we'll see some of those guys get a run, but I couldn't name any.

Jack Cullen been in Cup trials, been coming off the bench and been solid there.
