NRLW Round 8 - Knights vs Broncos - 11:50am Sunday 24 August - McDonald Jones Stadium

Can’t have the precious Broncos lose. Would be a terrible time for the sport if that happened.
 
I think like last week what we’ve learned today isn’t that our girls *can’t* beat the Roosters/Broncos, per se. But they need to play close to perfect footy for the full 70, Jesse needs to nail every kick, and we need to come into the game with zero injuries.

The club is absolutely on the right track, it’s just a matter of continuing to develop (and keep) good talent.
 
Must be bad, I slipped out for 5 minutes and my daughter turned it off in disgust while I was out. She’s a lot more patient than me and it takes a special kind of bad to do this to her

She’s been solid. I viewed her as our biggest attacking weapon going into the season and she’s been underwhelming in that regard, at least for mine. Stats don’t really go against that opinion either. Not expecting her to break 10+ tackles every game like she did as a junior and on debut but down to 3.8 tackle breaks per game and generally hasn’t looked that dangerous. I'm sure there'll be a breakout game sooner than later.

Exactly, it’s just completely unnecessary interference. They’re going to win at least let it be competitive

Well, 1. She’s 19 years old and 2. That is the most of any back rower in the comp 😆

She’s only 19 and in her first year. I don’t think averaging nearly 4 tackle breaks a game is underwhelming at all. She’s been really solid defensively.
I think she’ll be better again next year
 
I think McEwen was unlucky to have to match up against robinson in her first game at centre, but she was competitive against her and I'd love to see her get a chance against literally any other centre except maybe Kelly.
I think she showed enough to say she could be a weapon at centre, and kirkpatrick is looking better and better at second row.
