NRLW Round 8 - Knights vs Broncos - 11:50am Sunday 24 August - McDonald Jones Stadium

No where near good enough in defence. No steel through the middle and our edges need to go back to maths to learn basic numbers.

Need to wake up in the second half otherwise they’ll get a cricket score on ‘em.

A real shame. We were going so well.

I recognise that they need a rest but the drop off from Davison & Romaniuk defensively is enormous, I don’t know that they can both be off the field at once. Usually when they’re off we’ve still got Karpani and Kirkpatrick defending in the middle but with the troops we have out that’s not an option today.

finishing 3rd in a 6 team finals is often the best place to finish.

It's a terrible format.

You see it in the juniors all the time that teams 1 and 2 get a week off in the first week of finals and then have to play teams 3 and 4 who are coming off a really hard workout - so the top sides get ambushed.

Cribbing this from the broadcast but there were two send offs for the Warriors last week and I would say only one of those incidents was clearly worse than the elbow to the throat today.

Yeah the hip drop was nowhere near as bad as that elbow to the throat. That was just a blatant professional foul too.

Seriously, the Broncos don’t need help from the officials. The comp is ridiculous lopsided as it as, the refs don’t need to add to it

I don’t think anything would’ve funnier than the Roosters and Broncos both getting done week 2 of the finals. Don’t even care which teams do it but it would be great to see the planned GF ruined

There’ve been blatant second efforts on every tackle in the first set of the second half that have all been worse than anything we got pinged for in the back end of the second half.
