NRLW Round 6 - Knights vs Tigers - 12pm Sunday 1st September - McDonald Jones Stadium

Gallagher should have about 6 tries
She's too slow to be on the wing, she's a backrower - but we're overloaded with talent there. Not sure what the solution is - still think I'd pick her before LAW. But if they were on the opposite wings today, White would have 6 imo

Just saw the rest of the video. Georgia went into the game with hamstring tightness which is why they carried the 3 halves. That was also the reason Predebon missed out because they had to carry Jesse on the bench as well. Sounds like team will be back to normal next week.
What's normal? Jessie out of the 17?

Willison had some great touches at centre that hopefully they look for more often if she stays there, and I thought White had her strongest game so far. Parker's best attacking game of the season. Gallagher was solid but probably should’ve had 4 or 5 tries.

In the forwards Butler was impactful as always and the starting combo with Karpani is working well. Generally not a fan of Higgins at lock but thought she had a really strong game with Hannah out. Clydsdale was Clydsdale. Romaniuk still below her best but the try helped.

As for the halves situation - I still think the biggest issue is just how often they try to force it down that right edge. Maybe Jesse is calling for it too often but we’ve got 2 of the most experienced dummy halves in the comp and they should have a better grasp on that. Roache isn’t a big threat in attack individually (maybe Willison can be) but with Clydsdale out there and Upton lurking around there’s no reason the left edge should be seeing so little ball.

Liked Parker taking runs back through the middle worked well. She’s running the ball very strongly this year.

I think less is definitely more with Jesse. She just needs to keep it simple and try not to overplay her hand. Let Tamika do the ball playing.

Agree that Gallaghers future lies further infield. Not sure i’d be moving her this year though. She just needs to use her foot work a bit more to get around defenders instead of looking for contact and trying to go straight through them lol

This team looks so much better with Georgia Roche in it, no matter who is playing around her. I have seen this at every live game I have attended this year.

Jesse has struggled this year to find her role. Georgia looks to be more comfortable controlling the team and giving good ball at right time to Tamika and Yas. Jess has linked well with her edge on a few occasions putting LAJ over and Parker/Gallagher. Just needs to focus on her edge.

She's still the best option as 7, hugely encouraging that Evie Jones handled the NRLW speed and size really well too.
