NRLW Recruitment & Retention Thread

Jacinta Carter signing on long term is massive news. She has the ability to be better than Davison and reach CJ levels.

Pretty interested in the two new signings, I think they could be massive signings from footage i;ve seen. \
Good choices in Development players., especially McEwen and White. Ollerton been around a bit but haven't seen much of her, good 9 though apparently.
Really happy for Finau, she's going to just as good as McEwen. Playing centre in local league, could be aiming to be the next Hufanga

Evie Jones extends through 2027. Jeffries says that she can compete with Southwell and Roche but notes that she's been developing as a dummy half as well.

Confirms Kayla Romaniuk has re-signed as well, doesn't say how long for but according to the article on her in the Herald from earlier in pre-season it's 2 years.

7s players seem to convert reasonably easily - half the backs in the comp played 7s at some stage.
It will still take her a at least a few games of reserves to get up to speed.

She's in Paris now as an injury reserve but the women's 7s ends on the 31st so won't be far away.
Well that would mean she is probably at her fittest ever. I imagine the Kiwis will have trained for months for the Olympics - as would have every medal chance side.

Looking at photos of her, she never misses leg day at the gym. She has some impressive looking thighs.

Knights announce Jules Kirkpatrick has re-signed for 2 years, and Mercedez Taulelei-Siala will be on the development list for next year before joining the top squad in 2026.

Yeah would have loved to keep her but her not playing for the Warriors would honestly feel a bit wrong. Also didn't make a lot of sense for us to fight to keep her given the talent coming through in the position.

Our Tarsha Gale forward pack were all pretty impressive, but maybe we need to shop around for a few big bodies for next year.
