I want the head of recruitment to have a good look at the Wigan Warriors women’s halfback to replace Southwell.
Izzy Rowe is going to be a superstar and it’s only a matter of time before she’s in the NRLW.

Meanwhile we signed the Qld U19’s five-eighth, presumably because the Broncos didn’t bother looking at her, knowing they could likely get Jesse.
 
I still don’t think people realise how comically better Brisbane are than everyone else. Like they are gonna smash the Roosters next week and I’m flabbergasted that people will be surprised.

They turn every half break into a try and it’s way easier for them to get a roll on than anyone else. Their bench middles are better than most starters.
 
Bo was signed because she’s experienced and can fill the gap until we find the right young player to replace them via internal development. They obviously didn’t sign her thinking she was as good as Tamika because no one is, and anyone who’s even worth mentioning in the same paragraph like Verran or Berry isn’t available.

Yeah. The Knights had Upton under contract until her immediate defection, and so the Knights had to sign the best of who was available.
 
Not much space to sign players as things stand, assuming Gallagher is re-signed and a half to replace Southwell there's only one spot left.

The issue was giving Vette-Welsh a 3-year deal when anyone who has watched her the past two years at the Tigers could tell you she's physically cooked. She was still on the scrap heap in December for a reason. I don't have much faith in White either but I doubt the team would've been much worse off with her there, and she at least has the benefit of still being young.

Yeah I understand signing Welsh but I don’t understand 3 years

Hopefully there’s a club option for the last year at least
