[tank999]

In what years has Newcastle won the world sevens competion and who did they defeat?

[Bedsey_is_the_best]

They won in 1991 and 1996. In 1996 they beat Norths, 48-18 and I think they beat Parrramatta in 1991, when it was called the Nissan sevens (I guess it is the same thing but not 100% sure)

[tank999]

Close everything right except they didnt beat parramatta in the 1991 final.

[Bedsey_is_the_best]

Damm I just new it was played at Parramatta stadium so I guessed lol. Ok was it Manly?

[jamesgould]

Damn you all for not realising the answer is on this site!

well i dont know
but i WISH brett kimmorley had retired then

[jamesgould]

I'm glad he didn't. If he retired then he would have gone down as one of the all-time best, and a total enigma. Now that he has plumbed the depths, everyone KNOWS he sucks!

[knights_chick]

ok true... very very true.
but i've still had to put up with his ugly face and attrocious lack of ability for the past 7 or so years.
