First half we gave ourselves no chance.bpenrith haven't played well, we have just rolled the red carpet out for them to our try line.

I reckon if we were in the arm wrestle with them and cut the errors we are in it.

But can't compete without the ball.

Smith hate is weird. I feel he's been our best half this year. Always trying to create something. Others you can't tell are even playing.

I like his effort and willingness to run the footy and create something, on the other hand, his defence has been shyteee

If the team, forwards get on the front foot that’s when Brown starts to shine. An evolution of his game will need to be that half that digs is out to trouble if we are on the back foot.

Yeah the workrate is there once he grows into the body you'd think the impact will come.

Didn’t see most of the half, but Cleary running into his back to get the ball under the posts wasn’t a great sign. Even if Cleary feigned to ground the ball … looked like he just didn’t want to be there.

I keep thinking they should have let Hunt practice fullback some more and moved Sharpe to centre instead until he was 100% and confident again.

Geez Ponga lifts the game of Brown. I know he boosts everyone’s game, but it’s very noticeable with Brown. He doesn’t get involved much, back to the parra days.

Why is everyone so shocked about brown, he's always been a downhill skier and don't see that changing.

What I don't like is his decision making at key times, he really needs to nail that if he's going to choose his moments.
