NRL Round 6 - Tigers Vs Knights - 4:05pm Sunday, 12th April - Campbelltown Sports Stadium

This will be only the second team we come up against that is full of confidence. Last was Wahs, Dogs and Raiders aren’t fully down on confidence obviously but not fully erect right now either, for lack of better term.

Away from home we’ve been impressive mentally, so going into a biscuits crowd will be quite the test.

Whilst I see areas that we will attack aggressively (Makasini/Skelton) which is Gagai’s side and it sounds exciting. But I’ll hold my confidence for this game as Tigers are playing like Newy, unpredictable and opportunistic.

So again. Control the ruck, complete high and good Discipline.

I think we can win this, people can put as many downers on us as they want “haven’t beaten anyone is form” etc, but we are a top side, we are full of confidence after taking two top four scalps in two weeks and doing it easily, I know many like to be downers and come out with excuses for whatever reason.

Losses will come I believe everyone knows that that’s fine we are bound to lose soon and it might be against the Tigers, but it doesn’t change the fact we are a really good team capable of beating many teams now, our backline is deadly and our forwards can match many (not all) teams despite the idea we were going to get “dominated” like some people here thought the Sea Eagles and Bulldogs forwards would “dominate” us… well that didn’t happen.

We toke on the Minor premiers and easily beat them without Ponga, Brown and 40 minutes of no Best

Only once have we failed to get at least 5 tries in a single game and that was against the Warriors, we have only let in more than three tries in a single game once and that was also against the Warriors

We have shut down many tactics, the Raiders are heavy on offloads as well and we blocked almost every single one.

We aren’t the finished article, we have a few years to go with both development and recruitment but it’s crazy how fast Holbrook has sped up the team.

My seats are behind the away teams bench (Bay 56) so he was standing in front of us at kickoffs. You should have seen his face looking up at the crowd and soaking in the atmosphere after each try (2nd half). It was bloody brilliant to see a young bloke get to experience that. If that's not an incentive to want to be an NRL player for the Newcastle Knights, I don't know what is.

They will target there attack at DeCourcy and Marz you’d think. And they will test early. Bombs and just going left. Will be a test for those two. Lucus is inside which will help.

Agreed, plus Lucas putting a big ol shot on KPP. Not that I hold a grudge, just want him to know he's still loved.

Fox talking this game up.
Even a Matt Nable add for it.
NRL360 talking positively about the Knights and the Tigers.
Match of the round?
Yea it was weird to hear positive stuff about both teams come from the fox team. It was good to see a promo for the game though and they actually praised most of the players in the knights by name in the promo, what a crazy time

Oh yeah, that was a bludger of a game. Even beer didn't really help. And I sat through the rainy game vs the eels years ago when Gidley kicked the sideline conversion to win the game. Both those games were horrible to watch.
Oh god that Eels game was maybe the worst in the history of the sport. 6-4 or something like that? You deserve a medal for making it through that one!
