NRL Round 5 - Knights Vs Raiders - 4:05pm Sunday, 5th April - McDonald Jones Stadium

What a great team effort from the boys. Gags and Frizz were my top picks today. The more I watch Sandon Smith, the more I’m convinced he’s our best half back we have in our roster. I really want to see what him and Dylan Brown can do in the halves together.
 
We didn’t start well but we rallied and were too good for Canberra. Canberra were well below their best.

Smith needs to stop bombing tries.

His pressers always did my head in. Big pauses, sucking in a gut full of air before he says something generic, the little indigestion burps, the bloated red face and the excuses of how they tried real hard and trained well all week.

I clearly don’t miss it.

Yes that’s been missing a long time but have had plenty scored on us in the dying minutes over the years
 
That try assist by Hunt for Dom's last try was not something you see from the youngest guy in the side.
He positioned all the defenders, waited for the perfect time and delivered the perfect pass - you can see him planning it in real time.
What a future he has - just don't know what position.
Is he still on a development deal?
 
Knights looking almost as good as the Panthers this year missing two of our best players. Definitely can make it far in the finals this year. Im betting Ponga and Brown can get even better than they ever have, just like all of our other players, under Holbrook. Him always being behind Joey must have built something inside him that made him always want to find a way to be better, to compete. Damn good coach.

He did a really good job getting that ball away to Dom. A lot of players with much more experience would make a mess of that. He made it look easy
