I’m actually…not super mad about this one?

I was actually really proud of the defence. The attack is concerning but also they were completely gassed. It’s not easy to run set plays when you’ve had to defend set after set and the opposition are fresh.

Cogger needs to go though. He hasnt looked any better in the games where weren’t destroyed by injuries and need to defend. I think the attack will come IF we get rid of Cogger. It’s not even that he takes the wrong options but he’s so slow and un-athletic our set plays are smothered before Ponga/Gagai/Best can even get the ball.

Marzhew is a concern too. Probably deserves to be dropped, but he’s also really valuable to the side in terms of carries. Also, Ponga and Best need to help him out more.

Oh damn.....think we need to cut ties with him, it seems every year it's the same thing with this team.

Brad Arthur said he wanted to coach again in the NRL, I reckon he would do a better job with our squad.
Brad Arthur had probably the best injury run any team has ever had over that 5 years or so when they were good though. NRL Physio posted about this, it’s like the fewest long term injuries any team has had over a timespan like that since they started keeping records of it.

If he brings that, sure.

I can't really fathom how people aren't concerned with how much we drop the ball. Won't matter how bravely they defend if they can't fix that. We're 0.25cm of grass between the touchline and Marz's boot from being 1-3 in what is meant to be the easy part of the season.
It’ll even out as the year goes on.

I for one am definitely concerned about how much we drop the ball, and to be honest quite shocked how a first grade team cannot hold the ball.

The other biggest concern is our lack of points, we absolutely can't attack at all.

Yep. This. Hoping for the best, starting to expect the worst. We have awful injury record but that is what it is. Always is for us. No half back and cannot score tries. Heroic defense this week to make it 20-0 not 50-0. Would be nice to complete a few sets and score some tries.

This. I’m honestly perplexed people are saying the issue is AOB when we’re dropping the ball every set. We could bring in Craig Bellamy as we’d still lose completing like we are.

I can excuse the errors in the backend of the 1st half somewhat with the sheer amount of defence we did. But we seem so flat at the beginning of each half. It’s like we’re determined to turn the game into a scrap and are devoid of ideas when it inevitably goes wrong.

Our attack needs an overhaul. We could’ve played for another 80 minutes tonight and not scored.

I'm actually surprized it took this long for another teams coach to realize Marzhew is terrible under the high ball and to get his team to exploit it

I'm actually surprised AOB hasn't had a look at other teams and said to himself points can be scored if we contest bombs.

My sister's granddaughter is running out the gameball at McDonald Jones stadium next Sunday. She's only a primary schooler but she could probably just stay out there and play halfback. I think she could develope a better kicking game than Cogger with a few days notice.

In the press conference AOB says KPP will be back next week. So that rumoured injury doesn't seem to exist.

Lucas, J-Saf, Schiller, Hetherington all out.

Gamble a chance.

Also said he was very proud of the effort.

Ponga says the execution from him and the rest of the spine wasn't good enough.
