Hopefully this is exactly like back in 2020 when Canberra beat Melbourne comfortably in Melbourne and were top of the ladder and were overwhelming favorites that even Joey tipped them yet we won convincingly.

Pretty certain KP came back from suspension that game and absolutely tore Canberra to shreds.
 
With our outs we’ll have to play perfect high intensity football. I won’t be confident though, not negatively, just Dogs have clearly continued from last year and this will teams biggest test after playing a game last week where we started well but had certain players not switched on.

3 games in we haven’t played an 80minute game in the slightest. Dogs look switched on for majority of there games.

They’re tough no doubt but Cronulla have made error after error. It’s been a hard game too. I reckon we can definitely beat them. No Burton or Kikau and Mahoney should get suspended.

I really thought the refereeing was terrible around that. Mahoney's action led to a scuffle, at which point he only went on report for attacking a guy's head on the ground. Ref called both captains in and told them to get the rubbish out of the game. For mine the sharks captain is within his rights to say to him "this one's on you, we've just had a defenceless guy attacked on the ground, take action and protect us or we'll have to protect eachother". Next tackle after the warning, Montoya had two goes at the head of Stonestreet right in front of the touchie who signalled for the penalty. More rubbish straight after the warning but no bin. For mine, bad refereeing and poor captaincy from the sharks for not pushing for more protection.
 
Didn't think there was much in it to be honest. Camera angles made it look worse than it really was. Hardly got him on at all in the head. See that sort of thing all the time when a player is prone on the ground.
 
I just watched the highlights and think they could both be in trouble. Tupoinua was late and a shoulder charge. Second shot Mahoney come in late with a forearm to the head.
 
I see dogs winning and winning well....our attack was pathetic in the last game, and although we looked good against the dolphins attack I believe the dogs will easily contain it.

We are predictable, get the ball to Ponga or Sharpe, Cogger is absolutely no threat at all to opposition defences.

Early on and alarm bells are already ringing, we have dogs and then the tigers who have one if not the best defence so far.
 
We’ll need to step up massively from where we’ve been so far in 2025 to have a chance. Not sure we’re capable of that with the players missing. Titans game we looked like a side with a very weak mindset.

We need to show more than just the shape out the back in attack. Titans rushed up in defence and stopped it everytime. For the life of me i have no idea why we dont utilise the outside inside ball to our fast players at the line.
