you guys genuinely werent even that bad lol, idk why you fans are being so negative. Good signs for you guys, defence looked strong attack just needed some work. To bad you were vsing the best team in the comp or mayybe you wouldve won. P.S. Bailey hayward is a good 5.8 to you muppets calling him sh*t. Has done more this year then that overpaid guy ponga.
Kick back Presh

Hearing there is a very good chance Manuleua may debut off the bench or in the next couple of weeks his been impressing.
That's crazy.
He's literally had 1 very good game in reserve grade and was a fringe Flegg player at Penrith last year.
Having said that, he really looked like a David Fifita type beast last week.

I asked someone I know who supports Penrith about Manulelua, they said he’d only been at the Panthers a couple of years - they’d pinched him from NZ when he was 18 - and that there was a lot of hype around what a great athlete he was. But they have a logjam of forwards around his age and there was a bit of chat that they weren’t 100% happy with his work ethic. They were happy for him to leave.

Sometimes players like this just don’t have the work ethic and never make it anywhere, but sometimes the criticism (implied or otherwise) from the club they just left absolutely lights a fire under them. That’s just happened with Terrell May, already established player yeah but he’s been almost twice the player since he got to Wests.

Well we don’t know how bad Eliot’s Injury is because the Knights do release basic injury information. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

But if it’s extended they may look at him in a week or two and give him a go at home for a chance to see what he’s like in FG. But they need to give it time and see if he continues to dominate in Cup. No need to rush a kid. We’ve already had Cant and McEwen do 80mins when they should be eased and just increases injury.

Manulelua is 20 y.o.

If he improves out of sight in a short period of time it's likely because he is capable of that sort of trajectory. He looked really good last week. I'd be happy to have him in FG to see how he goes. Arguably a better prospect than McEwen, although a year older

Thinking we can have Lucas, KPP, Cant, McEwen and Manuleleua is mouth watering.

At full fitness I think I’d still have Cant on the bench ahead of McEwen and Francis only by a hair.

But damn this looks great and Manuleleua will be a first grader at the latest will be next year if he continues this rate of development.

Just a thought.
Manuleleua, McCarthy and Annan all had a day out running at the Bulldogs right side defence.
What if the Bulldogs right side defence was just terrible?

I think I mentioned it when he signed but Manuleleau was the number 1 ranked NZ Schoolboys Rugby Union and Rugby League prospect in his age group, played NZ RU Schoolboys a year young etc, and was generally known as one of the best RU prospects in the entire world at that age.

In the current age of professionalism within elite youth sport those sort of talent identification wraps are never too far off the mark - as you mentioned, some realise potential at different rates (and admittedly some not at all - see Siteni Taukamo's brother Tyrone for an example) but there is no doubt in my mind that Manuleleau is likely one of the most naturally gifted players in our squad.

Cant is a lock

Cant is a lock

I think moving forward in the game your lock is going to need to be able to ball play.

I really like Cant’s energy, but I keep going back and forth on him whether I think he’s going to cut it in the NRL long term. I hope he does but I’m skeptical.

Cant is a lock
In theory but the facts are he is doing very well as a second rower, and if he is going to be a starting 13 he is going to need to develop good ball playing.

Right now since he can play 13 as well as second rower he should be on the bench for mine.

One shows up every so often. Then you gotta send them packing back to western Sydney with the fake Gucci fanny pack, mono brow, greasy mullet, socks with slides and passive aggression.

“Yous guyz arnt that bad but do yoo no wot the problum iz? Your jus s***” 🥴
It was the calling us muppets in their first post haha.

I always sense a red flag if someone doesn't say hi in the introduction thread too.

But I haven't pulled the trigger on WestTigersFan yet ... waiting to see if they can form a coherent sentence! 😂
