This game will be won in the forwards, giving Jsaf the captaincy will hopefully be the bit of motivation he needs to lead our pack.

He is already our pack leader, if he needs the C next to his name to become what we need then he doesn't deserve the C in the first place.

Yeah I think Lucas is a future captain but just coming back from a long term injury just let him play footy with out the pressure
 
I'm oddly excited t see what Holbrook and his coaches will come up with as a game plan for the team without KP and Brown in the squad. Without Sharpe last week we were still able to be very dangerous with ball in hand and sweeping plays. My favourite being Sandons short ball to Best when he looked to play out the back to KP.

With Sandon/Sharpe/Hunt the sweeping plays wont be on as much but still possible. So I'm keen to see how they want to execute the free and open ball play. I also think mid field attacking kicks will be a big part of the game with Hunt and Sharpe being s effective there, let alone Dom and Braddy executing bat back well so far this year which is Sharpes playground off that.

Naturally Forwards and rossland wil need to be massive in this game, Short balls between each other will help to stop the damaging defence of wahs middles.

Just watching the latest Knights post on socials, Crokes, Saf and Moon Knight (Mooneys new nickname) all three were in their blue tops. With Friz in a white top defending against them. Has me leaning towards Friz being on the bench again like the first two weeks.
Also had footage of Crossland playing like a first receiver role, so maybe some time at 13 again??

*edit* Saf starting and Friz being on the bench explains why they both have the (c) next to their names.
 
We went from Ponga/Sharpe/Brown to a NSW Cup 1/6/7 in less than 4 days. That would have to be a record.

It’s the right decision if Sharpe isn’t a 100% but goddamn it’s demoralising as a fan with a season ticket. Feels like we’ll never see our best players together.
