That’s one of the dumbest challenges on record, can’t have your hands on the ball as the player gets up.
IDK what Manly thought they were challenging there. Can't have your hands on the ball when the tackle is complete. I know they do it all the time because they're coached to slow the play down because the NRL got rid of the pocket ref (thanks, Gus), but it's still illegal. IF the ball comes out after the tackle call and your hand is on it...tough luck.
