NRL Round 24 - Knights Vs Titans - 2:00pm Sunday, 16th of August - McDonald Jones Stadium

After all these weeks off? I'd give him a week off the bench and start with Frizz.

Cody in the 19, but used sparingly if it all for mine @slotmachine is right we don't want to burn the kid out.
Id be giving Sami a week and good minutes in Cup. then bring him back for Manly/Wahs then decide between he and Crouch for bench forward. We've lost Jonesy to a Hammy injury too which sucks as he was going great but also for Cup!

I think Hagan and Winter should absolutely get runs this week and next maybe, give a couple lads who would be fatigued and carrying injuries a rest. Rest Braddy one more week, need him firing for Finals.
Graham had ice on his hammy at end of game again so Hagan can replace him off bench and leave Cant for middle replacements only. Having the end of year bye will drop the need to res player for last game, but reality is some need to rest and we are also battling for top 4, which guarantees a second week at home (if you lose first week, otherwise strait to Prelim baby)!

1. KP
2. Dom
3. Gags
4. Winter
5. MArz
6. Sharpe
7. Sandon
8. Mooney
9. Crossy
10. Hops
11. Francis
12. McEwen
13. Crokes

14. Hagan
15. Crouch
16. Frizz
17. Cant
18. Hunt
19. Salesea.

I think Hunt should be getting as many reps at centre as possible leading into the finals, particularly given Braddy’s injury history. With the finals just around the corner I just don’t think now is the right time to debut Winter.

Fair. I just have Winter well above Hunt personally, Hunt to me is just a winger and a decent 3rd string FB option.

Shows what I know - a year ago I had Hagan behind Matt McEwen as our hooker for Ball this year.
I still want to know if McEwen will be hooker in Ball next year - he's more aggressive and competitive than his brother, if that's possible.
Matty is aggressive but he needs to tone down a bit and just concentrate on playing footy sometimes. Gets a bit too heated for my liking, he was a part of the youngings who all got suspended in the newy comp for being a pork chop.

Hunt talked about training with Dom on the right in the pre-season, and them both practicing batting high balls back to each other.
We haven't seen much of that yet.

Are you related?
Negative. Just how I see it. I love Hunt dont get me wrong. I've watche dWinter and Hunt come through the Pathways and I see much more in Winter at centre, offensively and defensively. Hunt blew me away in SG at 5/8 the year he replaced Linnane after he did his ACL in the first game and then FB then suddenly he took to First grade. We're only scratching the surface with him for sure. I think he'll end up being a top 5 winger in the game.

But I still hold Winter at a higher ceiling ;)

Two more wins and it will have been the best regular season for the Knights since 2002.
Makes you wonder what they could’ve done this year without the major injuries. Pretty impressive when most people (outsiders) had them bottom 4. Even with the injuries if they’d just nabbed those 3 games against Souths, Sharks and Roosters they’d be equal first with Penrith. Unbelievable turnaround with a largely similar roster

Two more wins and we equal Brisbane's record from last year when they finished the regular season 4th. Will probably see us finish outside that top four, but still a massive season.
Yep 15 wins is what 4th place is sitting on more than half the time, so we’d be unlucky to get that and miss out.
