Gamble looked better today which is a good sign, our attack is still non existent and I'm still waiting to see Brailey fail to put another kick into a players leg
 
Complete and utter rubbish. Deadset ponga is a joke, wont take a tough carry, last 3 sets didnt touch ball. Is it that hard to atleast push up with the forwards each carry instead of running side to side without touching ball.
 
I know we haven’t been great again today as a team but That last 3 mins by the ref pretty much underlies why there is a gulf between top and bottom teams

They layed all over us and pulled players down for whole set and no penalty or 6 again, then they get gifted one on last tackle and then a penalty for a tackle around the shoulders.

Seriously bad officiating

But still our attack is nowhere

KP needs a red bull or two at halftime to get the attack singing
 
Can see the difference in mentality at halftime. Panthers players all upset, wasn't up to their standard. Whereas Ponga saying "good half" to the team - in what world was that a good first half performance. Purely because Panthers couldn't capitalise and it's close? it looks like we've never played together before.
 
In attack KP needs to be more aggressive and just demand the ball. Take the line on himself.
He can’t rely on these boiled potatoes he’s playing with to provide him with space.
 
I forgot this game was on…

I turn it on for the last 8 mins of the half and see 2 forwards passes let go, 2 offsides and a penalty for a high shot that clearly wasn’t high.

I suppose Newcastle is doing well to not be further behind with a Ref clearly against us.

We didn't give the Panthers many chances to be fair. Gotta be happy with that side of things. But totally failed to fire any shots in attack or put them under any pressure, which means we won't go close to winning this one, unless there's a drastic change in the second 40.

Yep, if you're the highest paid player in the game you can't be blaming two blokes in the halves on a third of your wage combined for not getting involved.

Actually the ref has been surprisingly good to them. They’ve got way more calls than usual
