Crossland has been close to our best player all year at hooker.
Definitely our best defender.

I would have went,

7.Gamble
6.Pryce
And just try and score some good damn points!!!!

Crossland for all of his great attributes isn't a crafty ball player.

Over the course of an entire season you'll scarcely see him break the line or assist a line break and he won't be the guy putting on tries.

Hopefully he kicks well and can organise well. But I haven't seen any evidence yet that he can effectively organise a team from halfback. I don't think he is a long term solution for either 6 or 7 but I'm very interested to see how he fares

Dunno about Crossland, will see how he goes, but I think dropping Hastings is the right call. Overall this season though, the halves have been a total debacle.

All I can think is the bombs Crossland put up got AOB to sit up in his chair. Now he just needs to get everyone chasing the bloody things and contesting for them. He does have the odd little deft kick in him which he occasionally pulls off. He really never set the world on fire in the halves in the past but perhaps with maturity and responsibility he's been able to find a new level?

I don’t care at this point but Hastings being dropped is the right call. His attitude stinks and it’s reflected in his performances and as far as I’m concerned can go. That crap rubs off and the Knights seem to have a bit on their hands.

I think see out the rest of the year as an experiment and hope they discover some diamonds in the rough for the next season. Panthers scored 46 points last night and Cleary picked up 26 on his own. It’s going to be ugly.

From what I've seen from Crossland last year, he'll be rubbish for about half a season in the halves then it will suddenly click. Not expecting much from him straight away, but happy for him to stay there until years end. Done with Hastings.

At least Nix has a good boot on him. When we can barely get out of our own end he can kick it down to their try line & we start all over again..

I hope AOB doesn't expect Crossland to do the tackling he normally does with the number 7 on his back. A big part of his game is the intensity he shows getting off the line in defense and I think the team will miss that.

He has been a disgrace the last 3 years. Jacob has lapped him twice over and even he is rarely hitting his season.
