Some guys transition well into 1sts but most never do. I think there’s cause for alarm always when any club (especially the struggling clubs) lose a good junior to a rival. You invest so much in the hope that they will repay the favour but instead they score points against you while you work out who’s going to replace them. They are relatively rare to come by too
