I think the way we have performed recently has shown a lot of the doubters that our forward depth isn’t as dire as some would have you believe.

It’s not the best by any means but people were acting like if we lost one prop we would start getting hammered. Right now we are relying on two rookie props, and a prop that is playing his first real year of first grade and yet we held up our gloves against Souths and Sharks.

Put any team in that same situation and all of them are going to struggle a little.
 
If I was Trent Robinson I’d have Walker and DCE kick for Marky Mark against Marzhew all night long. They have Toupo as well , great under the high cross field kick.
We need to dominate field position, completions and possession, with our forwards holding the middle, and Brown and Ponga steering the ship, and deep kicks to keep them out of our 20 as much as possible, reducing the threat of the kick for their wingers. Brown, Ponga, Best and Lucas are our best attacking options on LH edge, target Rorters centres and edge forwards, and Walker who can be flimsy defensively sometimes.
I’d love to win this one,especially on our own dung heap and I think we need to make a statement that we belong in the 8.

Broncos will be tough, but Panthers have lost 3 of their last 4. They tend to struggle during origin period or just after. I'm confident we can scrap a win this week against Roosters. They are hardly going as well as their record suggests. If we can get a win against a fully fit Roosters, with a few of our forwards out, we can really push on for the rest of the season.
