NRL Round 20 - Knights Vs Warriors - 4:05pm Sunday, 20th July - McDonald Jones Stadium

Really enjoying McEwen. He has some pace, runs the ball hard and hits hard too. Would like to see him replace KPP.
Also, Kevin Walters as kangaroos coach shows that kangaroos coach is a job title only.
McEwan and Leo were really defending well, hitting hard and running hard.
McEwan had one bad miss to let in a try, but you could have driven a truck through the gap.
Young guys are really standing up, but some errors are expected. A few more young guys need a taste between now and the rest of the season.

I literally posted "They check all tries" so nothing to do with ruck penalties.

So this is yet another of your tedious post-fact justifications of a sh!t take.
No. Sincerely mistook your comment and responded genuinely. Apologies for that

You're comfortably the highest strung member of this forum lolol

Could change your name to 'Sean-needs the last word-o'

I could not be happier he’s leaving. Fraud of the highest order.
After his effort with sickness considered, I find that comment ignorant. Sure, he is leaving, but he has been screwed by the Knights administration for the last couple of years and he gave his all today. Sometimes it’s best to think it without saying it aloud, even in jest.

lol....ah-huh sure, "They check all tries" is definitely the same as "ruck penalties"...but it's not like you haven't got form with the post-fact justification for the sh!t take is it?

Could change your last name to "Les Tedious".

One good game doesn’t make up for 2 years of phoning it in and ill discipline.

Yeah, I thought his defensive miss was as much about Cogger pushing out too early as it was McEwan’s fault.

Yeah, it was just unlucky with where that ball went.

Loved the fight, especially with JSaf seemingly injured (again), really excited about McKewen, there's a footy team in there that will hopefully coalesce into something special over the next few seasons.
And it looked like that at the game. I was really proud of the Knights today, even some of the forum’s whipping boys did some great things, contributing to a wonderful game.
I don’t know if another coach, even Bellamy, could have got much more out of the Knights today.
I really liked the toughness, the tackling and the performance of our young guys who stood up and gave me more confidence about the Knights of 2026 and beyond.

Thompson has had a lot of great games for the Knights, even this year as well. Sure, I agree with some of his poorer performances year, but DSaf phoned it in for several years, while Thompson did the heavy lifting for the team.
I wish Thompson well for the rest of the year.

Some absolute unbelievable referring decisions this weekend. I can't think of another sport where the referee has such an influence on the result and now you throw in the bunker, maybe the referee's coach needs to go.
Correct. The current officiating is a disgrace, including some changers from the bunker.
It just goes to show what happens when people or organisations are not accountable, the standards always drop, and they have.
The refereeing and bunker are ruining a once terrific game.
This has been evident in multiple games this weekend.

A few howlers in the girls game as well

I didn't catch the game, just some highlights.

Can someone explain that last Warriors try and how that isn't ruled Warriors offside from the kick? They in front of the kicker?

Good effort from the team to still be in it given the circumstances leading in to the game. Another heartbreaking last gasp loss.

After it's charged down everyone is on side,
From 40 metres out I probably would just take the risk of them missing the shot as it's hard to make even if a side had latrell I would risk it
Papenhuyzen I would charge it down

I was kind of thinking that too but it’s easy to say from the couch.

On the other hand if the ball lands in literally anyone else’s hands besides Halasima they don’t score. He’s the only player in their team who scores there. So, maybe just chalk it up to a bad bounce and move on.
