NRL Round 17 - Knights Vs Tigers - 4:05pm Sunday, 28th of June - McDonald Jones Stadium

I agree Phins have great depth.

But the Tigers were pretty well full strength when we played them and in good form.

Phins played them with out Douehi, Samula Fainu, Alex Twal, KPP, and Royce Hunt. Big outs for them. Samula Fainu is an absolute gun 2nd rower. Douehi was up there for one the form 7’s in the comp before he got injured. They were missing Luai that game.
It’s a shame the Knights and Fins game will be Origin affected. I was looking forward to seeing how these two teams match up at full strength

Both sides have named pretty well full strength teams. Tigers have Twal and Douhie back in. They are missing there two starting 2nd rowers in KPP and Sam Fineu. Should be a good game. This Tigers side is much stronger so we need to play better than we have previous weeks.

Think it will be closer then what the bookies have.

Tigers side looks good. They were playing great footy earlier this season with pretty much this side. We’ll need to be a lot better than our last few games to win this one.
Yeah admittedly the Tigers team definitely looks a lot better on paper this week.
On the same note, this is probably the best team line up that we've announced since round 1 tbh

Im not so sure. I'd say our best team has Graham not Smith playing interchange hooker. I'd suggest that Saulo is better prop than Crouch, too

Hard to gauge, Saulo is a great defender but offers close to nothing in attack despite his size, now Crouch has never played firsts so it’s impossible to tell who the better player is but in cup Crouch is known for being a great defender whilst adding big metres.

So if Crouch can do what he does in cup in firsts than he would already be the better player but that’s just basing it of if he can bring his cup form up.

Crouch is old enough at 23 to come into FG and have a memorable debut - if he is capable of it. Gut tells me he is

Crouch is a hardworking toiler with a big motor.
He won't have much impact on the game if he gets 20 or 30 minutes off the bench - but he shouldn't do much wrong either.
If he reaches his full potential for us, he might be giving us 60 minutes hard work with few mistakes as a starting prop, and be allowing Saf and Mooney to do shorter minutes with more impact.
In his first game, we just need him do a job for however long he gets on the field. We'll probably hardly notice him, and that's OK.
