NRL Round 14 - Knights Vs Storm - 6:00pm Friday, 5th of June - AAMI Park

Are Melbourne really in form though?

They lost to the Dogs only 2 weeks ago and the only teams they've really beat in the past couple of months were an injury depleted Tigers and Eels..

And as someone has already mentioned, Roosters were terrible last week and also had several Origin players backing up from Origin too.
Times of old they would’ve been in form after the game for sure. It’s not a certainty anymore.
While I won’t be surprised if Melbourne win, it won’t surprise me if we win either. And not because Melbourne are down, but because we’re a handy team now

Assuming Manulelua will come in for McEwen if he cops an in club suspension? Maybe that’s why he was named in the 19 this week.

Article on McEwen that says his court date is 25th of this month and says he reported the incident to the Knights at the time it happened and it went to the NRL integrity unit.

I don't know how quickly things get to court now, but it took months when an old girlfriend of mine went DUI a long time ago.

Article says McEwen is expected to play and makes it sound like this is old news that has largely been delt with and it's only come up because the court date was published.

Bit of a danger game here.....I believe this is our first night game of the season excluding the Vegas one which was in a closed roof stadium.

Will the dew on the grass affect our game ??
Probably good team played on a wet surface last week. Affected KP's hold on the game with Lucas and Sharpe being difference in attack. Big game for the Forwards this week. Win that middle and we'll overrun them I think.

No disrespect to Hunt, but if Best is in we win by 30 with their backline, quoting Christian Welch, "They have no one."

Would love to see Francis put on with 30 to go to terrorise them.

The Manly v Souths game last night was a dry track. Cause of the wind the commentators said. Don’t know probably dew on dusk in Melbourne.

Either way we will have to get used to playing night games at some point.
