NRL Round 13 - Knights Vs Eels - 3:00pm Saturday, 30th of May - McDonald Jones Stadium

Now I am super confident of us winning 20+ even with a rain affected field, we should be way to strong for them. Only probs is I will miss the game live 😭 cause I will be on a plane to Bali but think I will get over missing it live pretty quick as I have a bintang or 3 watching the replay 😁
Anytime someone comments something like this it gives me flashbacks to being on holiday in Europe in I think 2018. Was in Athens at the time and was checking my phone for updates playing the Tigers. We got hammered. Run of the mill smashing for that season but for some reason it sticks in my mind!

Am I the only one nervous about ponga playing. He is not long back from a hamstring injury, I wouldn't be risking him. It doesn't matter that he says he feels great, lets keep it that way for Melbourne the next week. We should have parras measure easily, especially without Moses, why risk losing ponga for another stretch? Seems unnecessary to me

It's a shame the Knights medical team aren't as informed on the health and wellbeing of the players as this forum is.

He's been back from the hamstring tear for a month. It's healed. He's healthy. Resting him when he's healthy doesn't make him extra healthy or protect him from getting injured next week or the week after that or later in the year.

Are we talking about the same medical team that left Sharpe out on the field in round 1 when he could barely walk? Or maybe is it the same one that left Ponga out against manly just for him to hurt his hamstring even more after already needing help to stand up after scoring?

Acting like medical professionals are always right is flat out wrong and proven not just in this case.

JT being checked for concussion just to leave him out there despite being knocked out…

You can easily pick a hundred of these

I'll back em to be right more of the time then you or I. We aren't talking about a trainer doing a quick check here, we are talking about a medical team monitoring him over days.

Because of tonight result (Sharks win over Manly) if we beat Parra tomorrow we move into the 4th place.

Melb in Melb next week. Then a bye. Then Dragons H, then Tigers A, followed by Dolphins H. All games that we should be confident of winning.

Then we enter a long run home comprising 8 games, 6 of which are against top 6 quality teams.

Bunnies A, Sharks A, Roosters H, Broncos A, Raiders A, Titans H, Eagles H, Warriors A, bye round

The bye in the final round maybe a blessing after that run home.
