I'm sure KP will want to back up if he's fitHolbrook said something interesting in the presser after the Titans game - that Sharpe would be fullback for the next game against Parramatta because KP “ has something else on “ , meaning Origin.
Not expecting KP to back up ?
I'm keen to see how we perform against the top tier teams with our full complement of players. Missing 4+ stars in those games against Panthers, Wahs, Roosters, Tigers was always going to be tough. We have been beaten by top 4 teams (tigers were there at one point) this year whilst we had our spine missing or just returning. I think overall its been a pretty good start to the season, I would love to of been more competitive against those teams we lost to but this is the Knights we are talking about.
The gap between our good and our bad has definitely gotten smaller and we have won ugly which winning teams need to be able to.
Really hoping we make finals and give teams a bit of scare!
Frizell was a big loss in a few of those losses too. Great impact off the bench. All of our losses this year have been with significant injuries, more than one top player injured and to top teams.
Warriors: Injuries to Ponga, Brown, Sharpe, we were playing Gamble as 6 and Hunt as 1.
Tigers: Injuries to Ponga, Best, Brown, we were playing Hunt as 1, WDC as centre.
Roosters: Injuries to Ponga, Best, Lucas, we were playing Manulelua as 2nd row, Hunt as centre.
Panthers: Injuries to Lucas, Ponga, Best, Marzhew, we were playing Manulelua 2nd row, Schiller as winger, Hunt as centre.
All of our losses could have been different results barring injury, but injuries happen and at least our losses were to top 4 teams.
We have done phenomenally to start the season, better than we could have hoped, so insanely proud of the Knights so far. We are pleasing to watch, exciting, and anything is possible.
I’d describe it as a must win.Absolute danger game!!!![]()
I'm a bit nervous for this one.....I know the bye hasn't beaten any team yet but we might play them into form
It can actually be pretty important for any future charges with loading etc. I remember Papenhuyzen doing similar last yearGagai must be bored with the week off, he was facing a fine but has chosen to go to the judiciary to challenge it. Will go from $1800 to $2500 if he loses - no risk of suspension.
Insane to think how quickly Ponga and Brown clicked as a combo. Gonna be so fun watching them for the coming years. They will only get better together with time.Currently sitting 4th on real NRL ladder. Who would’ve thought after Brown and KP went down in the Manly game they’d be here after 11 Rounds. They’ve played everyone in the 8 bar the Fins
