Yep definitely. I get the thinking around it. Sando being a genuine half and sharpe being able to play anywhere.

He’s amazing on the broadcast, a lot of guys who trade on being likable are goofballs who spit a lot of nonsense, but most of his input is smart and well considered too.

I don’t mind the coach’s decision. Would have been happy with Hunt in the centres also. But I like this side also. Looking for to seeing Sharpe play centre.

But yeah this was the vision for the team. Brown & Ponga as the main men supported by talented, versatile guys. Hard to have top end talent and depth at the same time, if Sharpe looks good at centre then I’d say we’ve achieved it. Gives you a roster that’s durable for the regular season but has an extra gear for the big games when needed.
