NRL Round 11 - Knights Vs Titans - 2:00pm Sunday, 17th of May - Suncorp Stadium - MAGIC ROUND!!!

I hope smith has a better game. He needs some tacking lessons from DB. In his defence he did not overplay his hand. He was just shovelling the ball onto KP, etc. That might have been instructions from the coach.

If Sandon is cool with playing mostly hooker at Newcastle he needs to hit the weight room. I thought his work out of dummy half was good outside of the early flubbed line, but in defence yeah he was kind of just a quick play the ball whenever they wanted it.

As it stands though he's probably only going to get big minutes against **** teams, I think for example against Penrith or NZ Justin will just have Phoenix at 9 for the full 80. You can't hand those teams easy go forward through the middle.

I felt as though our attack and speed dropped off when Sandon came on as hooker, granted it was his first game there but to me it was noticeable. They were also poking their noses through when running at him, he really needs to get better at defending.

Titans have been poor.

Ponga playing for an origin spot. Best, Lucas and even Sharpe mentioned for a smokey spot on the blues bench will look to put on a strong showing.

Knights at close to full strength.

Knights heading into a bye should leave nothing in the tank.

Give me the Knights 20+

Can't wait.

Article in the Herald says Cant is available for selection.
Article also says the side is expected to be unchanged.

How long after a wooden spoon does it take for us to be confident in our team beating bottom 2 teams?
Asking for a mate!
Think the outside NRL world is starting to realize finally, but this ain't the same team that won the wooden spoon.

Not just the play style, but we didn't have Ponga, Sharpe or Lucas for heaps of games to finish the year off and we've added Brown who is a top player. It sucks *** that we came last, but this team was well and truly broken at that point. It's not the same team.

Just looking at head to head match ups. We have them covered in most positions. Only Tino, maybe Beau Fomore v McEwen and Jayden Campbell rate as a player.

Graham back onto the bench isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for Smith playing hooker.
Sure but if something happens to any of our spine members he is the guy you want slotting straight in. Also playing hooker and giving Crossy a spell is a bonus for the team.
Ideally one of them plays and one of them stays fresh on the bench. It feels good to finally have depth 😁

If Graham is playing I hope he goes better than his last game cause he was extremely bad in that game.

Obviously Smith is good for his ability to slot into 7,6 and keep the team going like he did, I do feel like some here want Smith to fail for reasons only know by them, but he brings value to this team or we could go back to Gamble…🤮 to which Smith is 10x the player

And to answer the guy that said Holbrook will pick or merit well he won’t he because Graham certainly didn’t play a game that screamed first grade last week,so if Graham plays it will based on reputation on the fact he has gone decent in the past.

If Graham dominated against the Dragons (which was expected) than I can justify his selection, but fact is he played worse last week than Smith therefore Smith should be higher in the pecking order if it was indeed based on merit
