NRL Round 10 - Knights Vs Dragons - 3:00pm Saturday, 9th of May - WIN Stadium

fletch Sharpe and dyl Lucas both cover the whole backline without having to carry another back. Both better options than a Fletch Hunt or Wilson De Courcey IMO too
Fair point but that move shuffles the structure of the team. I know Hunt didn’t have a great game against the Panthers. But he’s had plenty of good games, and at stages excelled. I feel stick with him as the back up back.

Also we should be giving one of the upcoming backs game time when there’s injuries because Gags time is up IMO. This is his last year. We want the guy stepping in with more FG experience next year. And I think at this point that’s Hunt.

Play the same team, now isn't the time you rest players sitting outside the 8.

We rest players and lose this one A) we look stupid, and full of ourselves and B) has the potential to get our run of good winnable games off to a poor start which may see us drop a few games we should have won.

Billy above said the coach needs to challenge the players to back up that effort I'd say specifically he needs to challenge them to put in a strong defensive effort. Souths have plenty of attack in them but Saints have struggled. You would think a solid defensive effort is all it takes to win this one.

They can fire up all they like, they're just flat out bad and leak at least 30 points against any half decent team.
I saw enough yesterday to be supremely confident we will put a score on them. 52-12.

Gags to get his own back by terrorising Holmes. Send plenty of traffic at him and Reed and then shift to the left and we’ll have a field day. Just need to hold onto the ball and it’ll be sweet.

Plus our side has had what, one game and 15 minutes at full strength? Dragons are a great way to keep building those combos, not break them apart again.

I think it’s a easy win, I don’t know where people are pulling close scorelines from, I think 42-16.

They can be up for it all they want, the reality is they are trash and we are pound for pound much better

I feel like historically we struggle against St George more at home than away.

The fact is we’ve played the Top 7 teams so far this season and our other 2 games were against Top 4 sides from last year. The Dragons are by far the worst team we’ll have played. If we show up mentally it’s a comfortable win.

We absolutely cannot get complacent. We have to go out there and treat them like a top 4 team otherwise it'll be like watching spooners newcastle of the last decade where we won games purely off the opposition thinking we were an easy win. If we are fair dinkum it needs to be a 40+ scoreline without any or very little conceded.

Hopefully they will be full of excitement playing together again and try all different combinations and plans. Expected to see the Knights be one of the top attacking teams by years end.

There are no easy games in the NRL.

I think there are times when the side that has conceded a big lead just completely disintegrates, but yeah, if a team wants to stay in it, they will always get plenty of chances in 2026.
I think if we had the this team that played the souths at full strength against the Roosters they hold onto the lead. Just so much strike power everywhere
