I’m not sure if there is already a chat for this already, I’ve been a chiefs fan for as long as I can remember priest Holmes days, Jamal Charles is my all time favourite player.
Would love to hear your favourite players/what got you into the game.
 
I started to pay interest to the NFL last season. Mainly because a few guys in our punters group follow it, and I’m a little over NRL.

I know a lot more about it now then when I started watching and I wish I followed earlier in my life.

The quality of athlete in comparison to NRL doesn’t even compare. The hits in NFL are crazy, they are far more brave. Don’t really follow a team, but I enjoy watching all the differing style QBs.

I’m a massive NBA fan and enjoy MLB too.
 
I don’t really follow a team but that last playoffs was incredible. Just when you thought the game was over, there’d still be multiple twists left to go.

The Bills look like they should be very hard to beat so I’m looking forward to seeing how they **** it up. The Fifth Fall Of Buffalo is on its way.

I like to complain about how seemingly only QB’s are considered for league MVP, Cooper Kupp should have won it last year - but even a guy having an all time receiving season is barely up for consideration. And then Kupp won SB MVP when really it should have been Aaron Donald lol.
 
Mahomes is the best QB going around right now and it’s not close. The guy can drop it in a pocket anywhere on the field. Going to be scary good this year proving the doubters wrong.

Their social media team couldn’t even keep up they were posting the 4th touchdown and before they could finish that post he’d already thrown a 5th.
 
I don’t know what the browns were thinking with their new logo…

Trey Lance injury was not pretty....I reckon he will be lucky to ever return to the NFL after a break like that..

I think the 49'ers are lucky they've hung on to Jimmy Garoppolo though to at least give them a half decent QB option for the rest of the season
 
Thoughts are with Tua, that was a scary injury considering his head knock last week pretty irresponsible of the dolphins franchise to put him in danger like that ( I know he passed the protocols but I think sometimes common sense has to come into play.
 
That could of happened anytime on any play to anyone. Don’t think it has anything to do with last weeks incident. Just easy to pair the two together.

That’s a fair point, I just think with the Sunday Thursday turn around it wasn’t a good call to be playing him after he took such a heavy head knock. Hope he’s well bloke plays with a lot of heart.
 
I would have thought it was pretty common knowledge that if you get concussed and play again four days later, you'll be massively increasing your chances of another concussion. And getting two concussions in that short amount of time can be life threatening. Absolutely terrible the way they treated him.

NRL needs to look at itself in this area too, I think there's no way Mitchell Moses should have played again the next week after his concussion vs Penrith.

Also ALOT of people have insinuated that the dolphins lied about it being a back injury it’ll be interesting to see if this gains more attention.
