Its probably going to be on of the Johns brothers. Joey was in Newcastle again today helping out the boys. And Stone has indicated he'd like either of them to be in the coaching staff.
 
Give Matty Johns a chance I reckon. He's probably eager to come back into the game after that stupid media-fuelled junk at the start of the season, and he has had some experience.
 
Joey has expressed that he wouldn't want a coaching role that goes for 8 months - "3 origins a year was enough" was something similar to what he said. Matty would fit the role perfectly imo, hopefully he is interested.
 
Hope we don't get one of the Johns', don't want the club to turn into a "jobs for the boys" culture, let's face it they were great players and club legends but playing is completely different to coaching also, Joey is too close to some of the players in the team to make impartial decisions whereas Matty would go against the new culture at the club.

Why would Matty go against the new culture at the club? That scandal was from 2002, he is a different person now - I think that's clear.

Joey working with the halves, and helping us with attacking plays.
Rip Taylor for U20s. We need this guy back at the club.
