Huge blow. So what now? Bailey at 6? Or bring in Walsh and have two playmakers?
 
Bails has been impressive in lower grades. Hopefully Mullo heals quicker. Its just a huge shame considering we were getting a combination going.
 
Damn. On the positive side, at least we have the depth to cover the injuries. And plus it gives Smith a chance to try the different combo.
 
I think Kurt did abit of Fullback/5/8th but Hilder did abit too. Give me a heart attack throwing the ball close to our own line. I know we had to try stuff but talk about hospital.

No doubt were going to miss Mullen but it seems to me we havent been going to him of late. We always seem to turn to Dureau.
 
yeh maybe Hilder could get the nod at 5/8, it would be good to see Bails get a shot though. Also with cross coming back there is the possibility of playing all big men on the bench, Wicks, Patto, Fa'aso and Cross.

Another option is that Doogs might be coming back this week so he could start at centre then maybe Lulia coming off the bench to play in the back row (Smithy has said thats where he wants him eventually to play) and also he will be there to cover an injury in the backline.

So many options this week, it will be interesting to see the line up on Tuesday, but my best bet is that Bails will slot striaght in at 5/8, or into Hilders bench position, with Waltzing then starting.
 
Mullen isn't a big loss in theory, sure he's a great player, but we are not a one man team.
 
I think its more psychologically disadvantaging for the knights knowing they wont have a big name player there. In reality it isnt a HUGE blow with our current form.
